    Sam pours himself a coffee. He slurps it and growls.

         SAM:
    Jesus Christ! Who the fuck is responsible for this piss?

    He throws the coffee away, takes out a flask and draws off a good swig and growls again. Two crew guys watch the events unfold.

         YOUNG GUY:
    This guy's insane.

         OLD GUY:
    There's a method to the madness.

    You just watch.

  • AUTHOR BIO(S):

    Jake got his first taste of Peckinpah as a teenager. He used to draw little thumbnail posters for imaginary movies. Fifteen years later, he began writing his version of Sam's life. Jake thanks Sam's ghost for helping him turn his novel into a film script.
