LEONA: Oh Hans––you’re not telling that same story again, are you?
HANS: Ha ha––yes
LEONA: Don’t believe him Cara. Everything that man touches turns to gold.
HANS: Ha ha––Leona: you flatter me.
LEONA: Hans, I would like you to meet a friend of mine: Carolyn Brust.
HANS: (hand kiss) It’s a pleasure to meet you.
CARA: Hello.
Small talk ensues. Cara steers the conversation in the direction of describing ones self.
HANS: ...And you? How might such a delicate flower describe herself.
CARA: Well... I’m a bulldog... (slight pause) with a pink bow.
HANS: Bulldog?!? With a...
CARA: Pink bow.
HANS: How does this mean?
CARA: (snaps fingers) I’m tough. (winks and smiles) But friendly.
TEX: Yeeeehaw!
LEONA: Tex–behave yourself.
TEX: (removes cowboy hat) Sorry little lady.
CARA: (lauging it off) I believe my work sums me up pretty well.
HANS: And what is it you do?
CARA: I’m a Production Efficiency expert.
HANS: How do I not know of zis?!?
CARA: I provide very aggressive TV production consultation. But with a smile.
TEX: Tough. But pleasant.
Others pick up on the conversation and begin to pipe in.
SHARON: Like a bulldog with a pink bow.
GABE: Such chutzpah.
FERNANDO: I am impressed–more wine!
